Roytan Gundogs

“Veron” (Roytan Kammo) went to Canine Partners to train to help disabled people to run normal lives and be self sufficient. Yesterday, the eight week old  got a special cuddle from a special person…Prince Harry.

It was a huge surprise on Saturday morning when all of you in AGG, led by instructors Pauline, Vanessa,  Lucy and Brian, presented me with that incredible silver whistle! Apparently it was the first time many of you had seen me lost for words!! It was to mark the fact that I had passed my KCAI (WG). I was so dumbfounded that I think I forgot to say “thank you”! So here it is…THANK YOU ALL SO VERY VERY MUCH! It really means a lot to me and although I will look after it and treasure it I will use it!

I have just been told the exciting news that Kitty Keeley with “Flint”  (Roytan Kracker) and Andrew Nichloson with “Sonny”  (Roytan Khaki) have  passed their WGC today at Turners Hill. They are both members of AGG and train here together with a 3rd member Fiona Milne with “Buffy” who also passed. All three are on the gundog page and hopefully pictures may follow! Well done all, a really positive achievement!

Jill Blackadder showed “Beryl” (Roytan Pride and Prejudice) and Steve and Alan showed “Diva” (Roytan Free Speech ) at Brighton Pride Show yesterday. Jill and Beryl came 5th in a huge puppy class (30 or so of all breeds) and Steve with Diva got a very commendable 2nd in the Gundog class. Well done all!

Gundog day today and I took Halley (Roytan Hale-Bopp) and Beshlie (Roytan Liberty). It was Halley’s first Champ Show and she behaved impeccably. She WON her class…1st in Puppy! So what a way to qualify for Crufts next year!

Beshlie was in a large class in Limit and got a well deserved VHC for her birthday present …so a very worth while day!
