August 20th decided to be sunny after all! and so our ninth Fundog Day was blessed with good weather once more. The total raised so far stands at approx £1700 and 5 charities will benefit. A full run down will be given on our Fundog page later.

Weds 27th saw Ashburnham Gundog Groups’ first staging of these assessments.Congratulations go to all 11 who passed and gained their Bronze certificates! We had only 3 NR’s and they were quite capable but too excited having arrived very late! Never mind there is always another time. Many thanks go to Eileen Ayling who came all the way from Chichester to officiate.

The United Retriever Club held a Puppy and Novice Working Test at Ensfield Bridge Tunbridge Wells and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS go to Roytan Saki (Brooke) owned by Debbie and John Thompson and ably handled by John on the day, to gain FIRST PLACE . This puts “Brooke” out of Novice and she now has to join the big boys!! Good Luck for the future and keep up the good work!
