Roytan Gun Dogs

Good news for Roytan Free Speech (Diva) one of Beshlie’s pups. Her hip score has come back at 8/4 , right on the present breed average.

On Saturday May 23rd Ashburnham Gundog Group held our first KC GOLD Good Citizen Assessments. Three handlers and their dogs took it and were successful, including Bob Wilcockson and Roytan Mr Darling (Fergus). Seven handlers took their SILVER and five passed including Kitty Keeley with Roytan Mrs Darling (Wilma) and Darryl Smith with Roytan Captain Hook (Barley). Just a co- incidence that they are , all three, litter brothers and sister from Taya’s second litter! Also passing SILVER were Jill Blackadder with Roytan Water Course (Edith) and Simon Quy with Roytan Water Boatman (Wellington) also brother and sister from Darcy’s second litter. Sorry Guys, even I didn’t realise how many Roytans there were!! We should have opened the bubbly!! I’m sooo proud!

On Saturday May 16th, Percy Baldock came to assess KCGC for us. Very pleased to say that Roytan Krugerand “Tanner” with proud owner Beverley Baldwin passed their Bronze together with Roytan Kracker“Flint” with owner Kitty Keeley.

Very pleased to say that on May 9th at Ashburnham Gundog Group, two “Roytans” gained their Bronze Good Citizen Awards. Andrew Nicholson with Labrador “Sonny” aka Roytan Khaki and Hannah Spearman with Vizsla  “Uma” aka Roytan Seven of Nine. Well done to all. Pictures are on the Gundog Group page.

“Diva” aka Roytan Free Speech not only had her 1st birthday yesterday April 17th, but passed her Kennel Club  Good Citizen GOLD Award!!  Huge congratulations to all! and what a lovely birthday present!

Very pleased to say that both Roytan  Kracker (aka Flint, Labrador) and Roytan Freefall ( aka Lola, Vizsla) both passed their KC Puppy Assessments here on Saturday April 4th. On to Bronze now!

Great news that Tally (Roytan May Time) has just passed her GOLD Good Citizen Award for proud owner Clare Cuthbert.

www.fieldsportschannel.tv  now have their programme on Gundog Day running, which follows through to the final judging in the Arena for the Best Gamekeepers Dog. Well done everyone!

Gundog Day came and went, Saturday March 7th. Members of our Gundog Group went up and exhibited in the Gamekeepers Ring, with Vicky Payne gaining a VHC with her ESS Quincy” (Pictures on Gundog Group Page)

Beshlie “Roytan Liberty” showed her socks off in the Vizsla Breed ring but no prize today.

Roytan Place Your Bet (Gus) (a Rula pup) showed well in Post Grad Dog

Roytan Slipstream for Kincsem,(everybody now knows Niska) won her Field trial Bitch Class…she hasn’t missed a win yet!

Pleased to say that Maria Merrick has just had Holly’s hip result. Roytan October Leaves, one of Esme’s 2 year olds is 2/4 with clear eye certificate.
