Roytan Gun Dogs

Keeping success in the family Roytan Peter Pan aka Buddy gained his Silver Good Citizen Award yesterday July 22nd. Very well done to Jo & Buddy!

At Michelham priory over the w/end of 14th and 15th July the BASC Long Retrieve was won by Roytan Mr Darling aka Fergus in an amazing 18 seconds! Very proud owners Bob & Linda Wilcockson

Today, 6 Roytans gained their Good Citizen Bronze awards with yours truly handling! At the grand old age of 12, both Sophie and Chelsea got through, followed by Darcy, Taya, Connie and Midi.
Bailey,Merit, Esme and Fenner already have theirs!

Killarney whelped a beautiful litter of 11 pups to Holton Jupiter of Beauport.
Both mum and babes are fine at the moment

Ashburnham Gundog Group held the first Bronze awards of the year on Saturday 16th June. Passing this time was Fergus (Roytan Mr Darling)with owner Bob Wilcockson. Well done! Silver next! Hopefully pictures and full results will appear next week on our Gundog Group page.

Today at the above show both Beshlie (Roytan Liberty) and her mum Seven ( Roytan Aurora Borealis)qualified for Crufts. Both were awarded 3rd place in their respective classes, Beshlie in Post Graduate Bitch for the first time and Seven once again in Limit Bitch.

Both the novice and veteran tests were run at the lovely venue of Buckhurst Park Estate, Withyham. 3rd place in veteran was won by MERIT Roytan Annie’s Girl ably handled by Brian West. Bailey and I did ourselves proud and came 5th although there were no awards. We all had a lovely day out!

Taya had her last family by Caesarian. She has 4 daughters and a son. Mum and babes all doing well

CHAMPION Roytan Slipstream for Kincsem
Yes she did it! Her third CC today coming from THE doyenne of the breed Gay Gottlieb. Together with her field trial awards this makes “NISKA” a FULL CHAMPION in the breed, joining just 11 other bitches that have achieved such heights.
Am I proud? So just think how Sarajane must feel! What a wonderful day for her and her lovely dog.

This month both Roytan October Feast (Ruby) and Roytan Hunter (Chaz) have passed their KC Puppy Assessments at only 4 months of age! Very well done to pups and of course proud owners.
