On Wednesday November 30th AGG staged the Gundog Platinum Assessments for those wishing to enter. All these came from Wednesday pupils but this does not mean that it is only for them, and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage anyone on a Saturday who would like to consider being assessed, maybe during the Summer 2017, to put their names forward. We will tell you if you are ready (in our opinion) to try. Your dog does NOT have to be pedigree OR KC registered to take part…so NO excuse!!!!
Seven dogs were entered with 5 gaining the Award. The Assessor for the morning was Mr Trevor White who not only teaches gundog work at the HPR clubs, but has many Working Test Awards with all 3 of his dogs . Before owning and handling HPR’s, Trevor was a Labrador Retriever man…so knows what to look for!
I am sorry at the moment I have no pictures…at least they are all sideways on! and even after editing them to upright and saving them, they keep coming out wrong…so I will have to seek help!
