2011/12 Lizzie came shooting/picking up for her first season and proved to be very steady and keen to please. Looking forward to taking her this winter.

2012 June 6th…Lizzie is a mum! Whelped 7 gorgeous puppies to Thurbajen Call A Copper, 3 boys, 4 girls

2013 Her second litter by Copper presented a LARGE problem. Lizzie had 12 pups, sadly losing a boy in the process, but the other 11 are doing fine and she is being a brilliant mum again…well done Lizzie!

Lizzie has done a great job of keeping our pack stable, always solid in the middle when we have lost a pack member. She became a Grandmother in 2017 when her daughter “Kindle” gave birth to her first litter. 2 of those pups come training, so it is lovely to see Lizzie’s family continuing.

At 10.30 this morning I told Sian that Lizzie has gone far away. She replied that “she’s not far away, she’s with you and all the rest of the family….happy Lizzie again”. Whatever ugly thing had taken hold of my lovely girl, was not going to let go, and to ask her to continue fighting something like that was unthinkable. My Lizzie went partially quite a while ago , occasionally coming back to check I was still here for her. Today I let her go completely which was the kindest but hardest thing I could do. She will no longer have to worry about finding me because I will be there for her forever.
