2004 Hastings Open Show 5th Puppy

2005 She attended gundog training with the UGS Sx Club and came on well. I allowed her out picking up once a week on our local shoot and she acquitted herself well. Now it is back to school!

2006 A quiet year with lots more training. Now one of my prime picking up dogs on our local shoot.

2007 Entered for “CRUFTS” in the Gamekeepers ring!

July 2007 Passes her KC Bronze Good Citizen

2008/9 What would I do without Connie on the shoot?

2009/10 Connie IS the shoot!

2010/11 Connie has done every day without any problems

2011/12 Connie is showing the way for all the youngsters coming through

2012/13 Tireless through every day.

2013/14  Connie will NEVER tire of picking up. She has so much sparkle as she works.

2014/15 What an amazing girl, she will be 11 in May and still going really strong for those runners!

2015  APRIL 5th

It is Easter day and the sun is shining, but I have no shadow, she has been taken from me this morning by a massive seizure. Connie, my soul mate and shadow, cruelly taken away together with a huge part of my life and my heart. She was my shadow even on the cloudiest of days, always there. I cannot find warmth in any words. I cannot even find words that can begin to describe the depths of feeling between us. She looked into my soul and always made me smile. It will take a long, long  time for this heavy cloud to lift as I hardly dare turn and not see her constantly there behind me. I cannot say goodbye.
